The Opportunity: Komatsu has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mining Equipment Operator Trainer to join our team in Welshpool. In this role you will be a subject matter expert in the newest Komatsu mining equipment to develop and deliver machine operator training programs for our customers at their mine sites throughout Western Australia. We require a dynamic and results-driven individual who holds a current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and has a minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a production operator/trainer in the mining industry.
Role Located: Welshpool Branch (Travel throughout Western Australia)
What we are looking for:
- Current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is mandatory
- National RII accreditation for operating mining machinery is preferred
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a production operator/trainer
- Experience operating at least 4 of the following:
- Electric Wheel loaders (LeTourneau)
- Komatsu Wheel Loaders
- Excavators
- Large mining dozers
- Electric haul trucks
- Mechanical haul trucks
- Komatsu mining equipment experience desirable
