Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a established Accident Repair Centre in Bishops Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in the estimating process, working closely with customers, insurers, and the workshop team to ensure efficient and accurate repair assessments. Responsibilities * Accurately assess and estimate vehicle damage using Audatex (or similar) systems. * Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers. * Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work. * Work collaboratively with workshop and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth workflow. * Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company standards. Experience * Proven experience as a VDA / Estimator within a bodyshop or accident repair environment. * ATA VDA Accreditation (desirable, but not essential if experienced). * Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating systems. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Full UK driving licence.
