Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to work in a modern workshop, producing accurate repair estimates and ensuring efficient repair processes for a variety of vehicles. Key Responsibilities * Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex (or similar estimating systems). * Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers. * Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work. * Work closely with workshop teams to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and industry regulations. Requirements * Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator within a bodyshop or accident repair environment. * ATA VDA Accreditation (desirable but not essential for experienced candidates). * Strong knowledge of modern repair methods and estimating software. * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. * Full UK driving licence.
