Kolt Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a well‑established accident repair centre in Aldershot. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is looking to further their career within a reputable automotive business.
As a VDA, you will play a key role in accurately assessing damaged vehicles, producing repair estimates, and liaising with insurers and customers to ensure a smooth repair process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce clear, detailed repair estimates.
- Use Audatex to compile repair costs.
- Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers regarding repair authorisation.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and industry standards.
- Work closely with the workshop team to plan and oversee repair progress.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair journey.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator in an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
- ATA VDA Accreditation (or working towards) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Audatex or similar estimating systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with both customers and insurance companies.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
