kolt recruitment are looking for an ev met technician to join a well-established accident repair centre in romford. this is a full-time, permanent position within a busy and professional bodyshop, offering long-term stability and consistent work.

Key Responsibilities

  • stripping and refitting vehicle components on electric and hybrid vehicles
  • removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components in line with ev safety procedures
  • ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and high-voltage safety standards
  • identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or vda
  • working closely with panel and paint teams to meet repair deadlines
  • maintaining a clean, safe and compliant working environment

Requirements

  • previous experience as a met technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
  • ev or hybrid vehicle experience and relevant safety awareness
  • good knowledge of vehicle systems, including high-voltage components
  • strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
