Kolt Recruitment are looking for an EV Met Technician to join a well-established accident repair centre in Romford. This is a full-time, permanent position within a busy and professional bodyshop, offering long-term stability and consistent work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stripping and refitting vehicle components on electric and hybrid vehicles
  • Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components in line with EV safety procedures
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and high-voltage safety standards
  • Identifying additional damage and reporting to the workshop controller or VDA
  • Working closely with panel and paint teams to meet repair deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Met Technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop
  • EV or hybrid vehicle experience and relevant safety awareness
  • Good knowledge of vehicle systems, including high-voltage components
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
