Location: Hybrid (London, Tower Hill, 3 days a week) Salary: £50-65k Employment Type: Full-time We're looking for a financially minded analyst to help our clients understand the numbers behind their business - not just what a dashboard shows, but whether the underlying revenue, cost, and workforce figures stand up to scrutiny • As a Financial Insight Analyst, you'll work closely with clients using our analytics platform, applying financial rigour to their revenue, sales, and FTE data to produce recommendations leadership and investors can rely on • This is a hybrid role combining financial analysis, consulting, and client engagement, with the opportunity to contribute to new business and strategic initiatives • Analyse client financials - spanning revenue, sales, and workforce/FTE - to assess quality of earnings, identify risks, and surface trends • Apply due-diligence-style scrutiny to client data: testing definitions, tracing numbers back to source, and flagging where the underlying trends don't support the headline story • Translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business performance • Act as a trusted advisor, supporting customers to improve commercial outcomes, strengthen data quality and governance, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across your customer base • Review and quality-check outputs from our AI-powered analytics assistant before they reach clients Cohort analysis • Organic growth with/without M&A • Quality of earnings and revenue quality analysis • 2–5 years' experience in a financial analysis, transaction services, due diligence (FDD / CDD) or fp&a role • Strong financial acumen - comfortable interrogating a P&L, understanding revenue recognition, and assessing the quality behind a number, not just the number itself • Strong ability to tell a story with data and influence decision-making • Commercial awareness - able to connect insights to revenue, growth, or efficiency • Comfortable working alongside AI-powered analytics tools, with genuine interest in how they work • Nice to have: familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g. Power BI) - helpful but not essential, as the emphasis here is financial rigour over data engineering You own the financial insight layer - not just dashboards, but the judgement calls and recommendations that follow • A unique blend of technical, commercial, and interpersonal skills At Kolayo, we're dedicated to building innovative, data-driven solutions that empower businesses and organisations to make smarter, faster decisions.
