We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to work alongside our Head Chef in leading our kitchen team.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious chef who enjoys developing people, maintaining exceptional standards and wants to build a long-term career within an independent restaurant group.

The Role

You'll be a key leader in the kitchen, helping deliver consistently outstanding food whilst creating an environment where the team can learn, grow and enjoy coming to work.

You'll lead from the front during service, support the development of our chefs and ensure every dish leaving the pass reflects the standards Kolamba is known for.

About You

  • You're currently a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous Chef in a quality, fresh-food restaurant.
  • You thrive in a busy service and lead by example.
  • You have a passion for bold, flavour-led cooking and high-quality ingredients.
  • You're organised, calm under pressure and committed to developing your team.
  • Experience with Sri Lankan or South Asian cuisine is an advantage, but not essential—we'll teach our food to the right chef.
