Bartender Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a bartender role within a quality-focused, high-volume bar or restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
  • Able to consistently follow recipes and maintain drink presentation and standards
  • Confident in managing prep for bar service, including garnishes, syrups, and stock rotation
  • Highly organised and capable of maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-stocked bar throughout service
  • Committed to delivering warm, engaging, and professional service at all times
  • Skilled in taking accurate drink orders, processing transactions, and managing tabs/bills with precision
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work seamlessly with the kitchen, floor, and door teams
  • Passionate about providing memorable guest experiences through product knowledge and personalised recommendations
  • Willing to contribute to daily briefings and help train other team members on drink offerings
  • Understands and complies with all food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and a proactive team player who thrives in busy service environments
  • Strong attention to detail and able to spot and address issues quickly, especially under pressure
