KOKO Theatre is the beating heart of our venue and home to live gigs, club nights, and world-class events.

We’re looking for energetic and motivated Bar Backs to join our Theatre team, supporting seamless bar service in one of the UK’s most exciting multi-use entertainment spaces.

As a Bar Back, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, keeping the bars fully stocked and service running smoothly during peak times.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow in hospitality and be part of unforgettable nights in a unique venue.

  • Role & Responsibilities
  • Support bartenders by ensuring bars are fully stocked, replenished, and ready for service.
  • Keep the bar area clean, tidy, and organised, maintaining high standards throughout the shift.
  • Assist with glass collection, restocking ice, garnishes, and other essentials to keep service flowing.
  • Work quickly and efficiently under pressure, ensuring minimal disruption during busy periods.
  • Anticipate the needs of the bar team to help deliver fast, professional, and friendly service.
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards across the bar area.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, energetic atmosphere for both staff and guests.

About You

  • Previous experience working in a similar fast-paced bar, club, or live entertainment environment.
  • Enthusiastic about hospitality, nightlife, and entertainment.
  • Hardworking, proactive, and able to keep pace in a high-energy environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with a can-do attitude.
  • Reliable and professional, with a strong team spirit.
  • Confident working late nights, weekends, and during peak event periods.
