The House of KOKO is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the seamless operation of our luxury dining spaces within an immersive members' club environment. Spanning multiple floors, our venue blends high-end hospitality with entertainment, offering a unique and high-energy dining experience.
As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Senior Management to lead the front-of-house team, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and a commercially sound approach. You will play a hands-on role in maintaining high service standards, driving guest engagement, and supporting team development, while also being responsible for cost control, team performance, and revenue growth.

Role & Responsibilities- Support the Senior Manager in the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring service runs smoothly and to the highest standards.
- Lead, train, and develop the front-of-house team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and guest engagement.
- Maintain a strong floor presence during service, actively engaging with guests, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive and immersive dining experience.
- Oversee service standards and team performance, ensuring consistency in guest interactions, food and beverage presentation, and overall atmosphere.
- Support in planning and executing service briefings, ensuring the team is well-prepared and aligned with daily operations, specials, and upcoming events.
- Manage reservations and table allocations, ensuring efficient guest flow and maximising revenue through strategic seating arrangements.
- Ensure operational readiness before each service, overseeing setup, staff assignments, and restaurant ambience to meet brand standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams, ensuring seamless communication between departments for a smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, liaising with the bar and kitchen teams to prevent shortages and optimise costs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue, from personal recommendations to service activations and curated experiences.
- Assist in managing budgets and financial targets, ensuring cost efficiency across wages, wastage, and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations, upholding the highest levels of cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring quick resolution and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing, membership and events teams to support activations, private dining experiences, and exclusive member events.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a leadership role within a high-end restaurant, members' club or luxury hospitality setting.
- Strong team support skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and contribute to the development of a high-performing team.
- Commercially savvy, with an understanding of cost control, revenue management, and a proactive approach to profitability within a restaurant environment.
- Passionate about hospitality and service excellence, with a drive to create truly memorable guest experiences.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, with an appreciation for wine, cocktails, and culinary trends.
- Comfortable working late nights, weekends, and peak service times, in line with the operational needs of the business.
