We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience across luxury retail operations, trading, logistics and stock management. This is a junior-level role offering genuine exposure, responsibility and long-term growth potential within a fast-paced, growing environment.
The Role: You will play a key part in supporting and driving the day-to-day operational performance of the store and wider business channels. This is a hands-on position requiring organisation, precision and a strong understanding of luxury retail standards. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one - but you will be expected to learn quickly, take ownership and support the Operations Supervisor with confidence and initiative. This role is ideal for someone seeking a start-up style position with clear progression into a future leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock flow and visibility across all locations
- Assist with the organisation and management of inbound and outbound stock movements
- Ensure all stock handling reflects KOIBIRD’s luxury brand standards, including packaging and presentation
- Support concept changeovers, including barcoding, labelling and VM stock floor transitions
- Assist with annual full stock takes and seasonal mini stock takes
- Maintain exceptional stockroom organisation and cleanliness
- Manage the general enquiries inbox and respond in a timely, professional manner
Coordination, Logistics, & Cross-collaboration:
- Act as the go-to person for in-store stock-related queries (brand locations, upcoming deliveries, seasonal launches, stock availability)
- Strong understanding of stock levels and incoming deliveries
- Monitor shipment ETAs and understand logistics procedures
- Assist with customs processes and flag delays to Operations and Buying teams
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Buying and Press teams — including support with photoshoots, PR send-outs, sample handling and tracking logistics
- Confidently use courier systems (particularly DHL), including booking labels, preparing commercial invoices and handling enquiries
- Support Operations supervisor in other retail operations that may arise within the business where needed
Who we are looking for:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar operational or stock-focused role
- Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office platforms
- Highly organised with strong multitasking ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused
- Experience using Shopify is advantageous
- Understanding of DHL systems and customs procedures is desirable
