Role Overview

As our KOI 11 Nutrition Café Barista / Mixologist , you’ll offer a unique experience to our customers through wellness focused food and beverages that are all thoughtfully crafted and are fuelled with beneficial ingredients. You will play a vital role in promoting our new concept and its values in a positive, engaging and energetic manner.

Reporting to the Retail Director, you will deliver excellent customer service and create new menu items reflecting the KOIBIRD ethos – Never Boring! You will work closely with the KOIBIRD retail team and collaborate with our PR and Social Media team to grow and engage our KOI 11 community and support exciting in-house KOIBIRD events with new and emerging brands.

This is an exciting role for someone with a personal passion for health and wellness , excellent communication and service skills , displays attention to detail , a proactive attitude and is well organised .

Key Responsibilities

Service

• Delivering an excellent customer service and engaging experience for every KOI customer.
• Leverages all upselling opportunities on all and any menu items with the knowledge and ability to recommend with confidence to maximise sales potential.
• Share health & wellness passion and knowledge on the beneficial ingredients to our customers and inspire the KOI11 and KOIBIRD team.
• Build and nurture relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation.
• Resolve customer queries swiftly and support KOI11 colleagues on the best ways to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service.

Operations

• Actioning day-to-day operations of the KOI11 Nutrition Café.
• Coordinate with vendors and order supplies , as needed (e.g., all ingredients, takeaway cups, etc).
• Maintain updated records of daily, weekly and monthly revenues and expenses.
• Ensure hygiene standards are adhered too at all times, with all café areas clean and tidy at all times and in line with KOIBIRD store standards.
• Support in the training of new employees on drinks preparation and proper use of equipment within the Nutrition Café.
• Volunteers’ new ways of looking at operational excellence and drinks quality to improve sales results

Creative KOI 11 Development

• Demonstrate innovative skills in helping create and develop new menu items that reflect changing trends, seasons and customer feedback.
• Supporting and collaborating with the Social Media team to interact directly with our customers through positive, engaging and creative KOI11 Nutrition Café content – promoting our unique concept, new drinks, etc.
• Working alongside the PR team to support the delivery of successful in-house KOIBIRD events.

• A hospitality professional who has a passion for health & wellness.
• Trained Mixologist / Barista who has a creative flair and enjoys developing new drinks.
• A confident & vibrant personality who thrives in the buzz of service.
• Passionate about detailed hospitality, guest experience and dedicated to exceptionally high standards of service. The ideal candidate will inspire this commitment in others.
• Strong background in mixology, as well as experience in coffee is preferred.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
