Six-month Contract
Our established client, a large well-known Wealth Management business with offices in Yorkshire and London, is looking for support in the CASS team for a period of six months. This newly created contract role will manage a small team while ensuring the CASS reconciliations are undertaken and completed to the required standards daily and as applicable, including identification and resolution of any CASS exceptions or issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and Approval of all of CASS 7 reconciliations, in line with the CASS rules
- Completion of CASS metrics, MI & reporting
- Carry out funding and shortfall procedure as part of client money reconciliation processes
- To undertake duties in line with but also to challenge process, procedures and approach to ensure best practice
- Be the first point of contact for any reconciliation issues identified, where necessary escalate to Senior Management
- Support & where applicable deliver MI to cover CASS reconciliations and trial balances
- Review and understand applicable CASS reconciliations procedures and practice
- Maintain the reconciliations teams training matrices, identifying and addressing any knowledge gaps
- Understand CASS rules and regulations as they evolve and change
- With a good working understanding of CASS 7 and the Client Assets Sourcebook you will also have good exposure to excel to perform data cleansing where needed
