Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates is seeking a BIM Intern to work in its central London office for a 2-3 month summer internship. The intern’s work time will focus on exploring BIM technologies, developing coordination and QA/QC workflows, and advancing initiatives for the office.

Responsibilities:
  • Help the BIM team grow and develop our content library and BIM resources
  • Develop templates and guides for practice areas
  • Research emerging BIM technologies and workflows applicable to AEC
  • Data visualization
  • Work directly with 1-2 project teams in advancing their BIM
  • Help advance office-wide initiatives in Design Technology
  • Collaborating with the Design Technology Teams (Computation, Visualization, Digital Fabrication, Environmental Performance)
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Be currently undertaking, or have completed, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Digital BIM Environment or other related topics.
  • A strong portfolio of recent projects delivered using Revit and other Digital Design tools
  • A high level of proficiency in Revit is essential including some knowledge of family building
  • An ability to confidently manage time, support multiple project teams with minimal supervision
