kōhmi. is a coffee and matcha shop in the City of London. We are building a simple, beautiful space centred around quality, calm, and good people. We believe in crafting an atmosphere through great coffee, carefully prepared teas, and warm, genuine hospitality. The space is designed to feel calm and welcoming during a busy day in the City.
We are looking for a barista to work part‑time on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 2pm, bringing warmth, care, and consistency to every interaction.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Barista, you will be at the heart of the experience we create for our guests. This role is about more than making drinks; it is about bringing warmth, care, and consistency to every interaction. You will work alongside the Head Barista and the founding team, learning and growing in a space where quality matters and every detail counts. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome, and wants to be part of building something special. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving coffee, matcha, and other drinks to a high and consistent standard.
- Greeting guests warmly and creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere throughout service.
- Working efficiently during busy periods while keeping the experience relaxed for guests.
- Supporting the Head Barista in the smooth running of the shop, including keeping the workspace clean, organised, and well‑stocked.
- Handling day‑to‑day tasks such as restocking, cleaning, and helping with set‑up and close‑down.
- Learning and developing your craft, with a genuine curiosity about coffee and how to improve.
