About The Role
Our award‑winning kitchen team has an exciting new opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our pastry team on a permanent full‑time basis. You will create exquisite plated desserts ranging from three rosettes to intricate afternoon tea pastries using locally sourced Scottish produce. In this role you will assist the Head Pastry Chef in preparation and service, maintain high standards, and keep kitchen areas, equipment and utensils clean in accordance with Old Course Hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee food production as directed by the Senior Team and present it at the required times.
- Maintain discipline in a fair and consistent manner, including time‑keeping.
- Demonstrate competence in plated desserts, chocolate work and patisserie.
- Follow HACCP systems and complete daily due diligence responsibilities.
- Be fully conversant with departmental LQA standards.
Requirements
- Similar experience in a 5‑star establishment.
- Culinary education preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques.
Hours
Full‑time, 40 hours per week
Remuneration
ÂŁ30,695.07 per annum
