We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to drive commercial performance through insight, influence, and strategic partnership. In this role, you'll provide vital financial insight across Orders, Sales, and Margin, helping the business understand performance, uncover opportunities, and drive profitable growth. You'll be a trusted partner to the Sales Director and Senior Leadership Team, delivering meaningful analysis, forecasting, and strategic guidance that supports smarter investment decisions and stronger commercial outcomes.

You'll combine sharp commercial acumen with robust financial analysis to challenge thinking, influence decision-making, and identify ways to create value. Working closely with colleagues across the commercial organisation, you'll build strong relationships, provide proactive support, and help shape the future direction of the business. Specific Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility for Orders, Sales and Margin performance, providing clear insight and commentary.
  • Business partner with the Sales Director and Sales Senior Leadership Team to support decision making and commercial strategy.
  • Lead financial input into the IBP process, including preparing and attending Demand Management Review (DMR) and Internal Reconciliation Review (IRR).
  • Ownership of Balance Sheet reconciliations and controls relating to Rebate Payments, Investment Funds and overall commercial balance sheet position.
  • Lead the Financial Planning process for Product and Customer Sales, ensuring robust forecasting and alignment to business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain Price Increase modelling to support commercial decisions and margin optimisation.
  • Model investment opportunities and assess commercial returns to support decision making.
  • Review and analyse promotional performance to drive improved return on investment.
  • Provide clear and actionable insight into commercial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships across commercial functions to enhance collaboration and financial understanding.
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial financial processes and reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and control across all financial processes and reporting.
  • Undertake ad hoc analysis and support as required.
  • Member of the Finance Community promoting and contributing to the Finance team in order to share information, drive best practice finance solutions in reporting, analysis, decision support and business partnering.

Skills/Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to work under general supervision and to tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability and facilitating change.
  • Professional knowledge and skill.
  • Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA (essential).
  • SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance technical capability with commercial delivery and a strong improvement mindset.
  • Available for occasional travel.
