This role is suited to an experienced valuer looking to step into a high-autonomy position with exposure to both delivery and business development.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuation work across a range of commercial property sectors, working closely with senior colleagues while maintaining ownership of your own instructions.
Key responsibilities include:- Undertaking loan security and asset valuations across commercial sectors (industrial, office, retail, etc.)
- Producing clear, accurate, and concise valuation reports for senior review/sign-off
- Managing instructions independently and efficiently to maximise profitability
- Building strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Supporting the growth of the North West valuation business, including identifying new opportunities
- Collaborating across service lines to contribute to wider client mandates
- Proven background in commercial property valuation
- Experience in loan security valuations (highly desirable)
- Track record of working with lenders, investors, or corporate clients
- MRICS (or FRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer
- Strong working knowledge of the RICS Red Book
- Strong report writing and analytical ability
- Commercial mindset with a pragmatic approach to real estate
