A true end to end process, your work goes from schematic to production under one roof. Customers span a wide range of industries, so no two projects look the same. The role Most projects are hardware and firmware together, sometimes hardware alone, from new designs to PCB re-spins and updates. This role is end to end, each project is different: Meet the customer Gather the requirements Turn req's into a specification Design the circuit Write the firmware Support the build through to manufacture Projects run from a couple of weeks to a couple of months. There are experienced engineers, but the call on your project is yours. It suits a senior engineer who likes owning their work What you'll need Proven experience designing electronics hardware and writing the embedded firmware that runs on it, taking both from schematic to working product. A track record of owning projects end to end on your own, making the design decisions and finding the answers yourself. Experience working directly with customers to turn loose requirements into a clear specification.
