  • Contribute to DFM reviews to reduce cost and risk.

Key skills and experience required

  • Proven project work as a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university.
  • SolidWorks proficiency, good drawings practice and tolerance awareness.
  • Knowledge of DFM, injection moulding, exposure to FEA and hand calculations.

Salary and benefits

  • £35,000–£40,000 basic salary.
  • Paid overtime and flexitime around core hours 10:00–15:00.
  • 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25.5% employer pension contribution.
