CAD of complex parts and assemblies in CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape or Fusion Tolerance stack ups, FEA and failure analysis that decide if a design ships Design for manufacture calls across materials, heat treatments and manufacturing processes Drawing specifications that hold up for function and manufacture, not just intent Contact with production teams overseas as designs move toward build What you will need As Mechanical/Product Design Engineer, or Mechanical Design Engineer, you will need: A proven background in electromechanical design, spanning airflow, motors, filtration, cordless or battery power Strong 3D CAD skills across complex parts and assemblies, with tolerance stack ups and DFM A track record of taking mechanical designs through to production, not concept stage only Handy but not essential: vacuum experience, CREO, and overseas manufacturing exposure Salary and benefits Salary shared directly with applicants, not published on this one Company bonus up to 10%, plus pension at 5% employee and 3% employer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with an option to buy three more Private medical through Aviva after six months, plus standard protection cover Cycle to work scheme, a free product after probation, and group wide discount codes About the company This is a well known British home appliance brand, part of a larger international group, investing in engineering after several quieter years.
