Scope of the Role
- The Industrial Designer will increase delivery capacity by owning multiple client projects from early concept through CAD, prototyping, DFM, and manufacture.
- Lead physical product development from concept to production release.
- Produce manufacturing-ready SolidWorks CAD, drawings, and assemblies.
- Design mechanisms including snap-fits, clips, fasteners, and moving parts.
- Run client design reviews and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Support prototyping, testing, iteration, and supplier handover.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Industrial Designer delivering physical products to manufacture.
- Advanced SolidWorks capability covering assemblies, mechanisms, and production drawings.
- Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding and DFM constraints.
- Confident client-facing communicator running reviews and technical discussions.
