Scope of the Role

  • The Industrial Designer will increase delivery capacity by owning multiple client projects from early concept through CAD, prototyping, DFM, and manufacture.
  • Lead physical product development from concept to production release.
  • Produce manufacturing-ready SolidWorks CAD, drawings, and assemblies.
  • Design mechanisms including snap-fits, clips, fasteners, and moving parts.
  • Run client design reviews and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
  • Support prototyping, testing, iteration, and supplier handover.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Designer delivering physical products to manufacture.
  • Advanced SolidWorks capability covering assemblies, mechanisms, and production drawings.
  • Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding and DFM constraints.
