Scope of the Role

As a Senior Design Engineer , you’ll add technical judgement early, then own delivery through manufacture. You’ll work with industrial design, suppliers, and stakeholders to reduce risk and move faster.

• Develop products from concept to manufacture.
• Assess feasibility, trade‑offs, risk, and delivery routes.
• Produce CAD, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Apply DFM across plastics, metals, and assemblies.
• Engage UK and international suppliers through sampling and pre‑production.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• Proven Senior Design Engineer , Product Design Engineer , or Mechanical Design Engineer on physical consumer products.
• End‑to‑end NPD, from early concept to release.
• Strong DFM judgement, cost/quality trade‑offs, supplier collaboration.
• Communicate trade‑offs clearly to non‑engineers.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and field insight when useful.
