You’ll own electronics design end-to-end, influence how products reach manufacture, and work hands-on with complex electro-mechanical systems. Salary £60,000 to £65,000 plus strong benefits.
Scope of the Role
- Own electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer.
- Lead schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging and hands-on board bring-up.
- Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes.
- Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers.
- Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer.
- Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Mechatronics Engineer delivering products into manufacture.
- Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems.
- Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies.
- Experience working in regulated environments with documentation and change control.
- Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers.
Salary and Benefits
- £60,000 to £65,000 basic salary.
- Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds.
