The Identity Support Analyst is responsible for the operational support of multiple large‑scale Microsoft‑based solutions and applications, focusing on Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) 2016, Microsoft Entra ID and related technologies. Support is provided through maintenance, modification, problem resolution and incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for all client solutions within Managed Solution Support.
  • Manage the configuration management database (CMDB).
  • Support the Identity project team when required.
  • Develop technical service offerings and support services.
  • Handle handovers of client solutions into support.
  • Act as a seasoned advisor, offering independent opinion on complex problems and initiatives, and assisting the client with decision‑making.
  • Encourage clients to consider difficult issues in their best interests.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to senior management, identifying approaches that meet client and organizational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex and bespoke applications.
  • Good working knowledge and ability to read and modify code written in VB.NET and C#.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows‑based servers.
  • Ability to support complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience in operational support within a business environment.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative experience in a virtual environment.
  • Independent work across multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong writing and speaking skills to explain technical issues clearly to technical and business audiences.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Operation/support of Microsoft FIM/MIM.
  • Operation/support of Entra ID Connect, Azure AD Cloud Sync.
  • Operation/support of Microsoft Exchange or M365.
  • Operation/support of Microsoft Entra ID.
