What You Will Do
- Lead, manage and develop the project quality team.
- Work with QA manager and project team to develop and implement systems / KPI’s to improve efficiency and ensure company and project quality targets / KPI’s are met.
- Interpret company, project and industry specific requirements and specifications to develop and manage the project Quality Plan.
- Prepare, review and verify quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, project and industry standards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address documentation queries to ensure resolution in line with company, project and industry standards.
- Identify and document non-conformances, leading corrective and preventive action initiatives where required.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to verify quality standards and expectations are understood and met.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records / documentation of quality activities.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits in line with ITP to ensure compliance with company, project and industry specific requirements.
- Manage, organize, and maintain all quality-related documents, including inspection reports, certificates, and compliance records.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Leadership and Team management.
- Proven experience in Quality Control, ideally within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of industry specific standards such as ASME, API, PED and ISO standards, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, and dye penetrant testing.
- Experience in material verification and welding inspection is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with quality control documentation, such as ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications, word, excel.
- Experience working in a high-pressure, safety-critical environment.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field.
- Certifications in NDT (e.g., PCN, ASNT Level II) or welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP).
