Koch Capabilities is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic Indirect Tax team. As Senior Tax Analyst you will be a contributor in the EMEA VAT capability creating long term value to our internal customers across the Koch enterprise.

The EMEA VAT team protects capital and reduces regulatory and financial risk while enabling commercial continuity. We deliver transaction-level, scalable compliance that prevents value leakage, supports growth, and preserves long‑term economic value for Koch.
What You Will Do
- Support end-to-end VAT reporting across EMEA, ensuring accurate, timely delivery through co-sourced partners and Leveraged Capabilities.
- Resolve complex VAT technical and regulatory issues arising from transactional data reviews and support engagement with local tax authorities during audits and ongoing assurance activities.
- Drive measurable process excellence, standardising VAT operations, leveraging data insights, and eliminating risk and waste through disciplined RACSI-based improvement.
- Lead the transition to transaction-level compliance, aligning processes, controls, and data governance with real-time reporting and e-invoicing requirements.
- Strengthen governance frameworks, maintaining robust control, risk, and accountability structures aligned with evolving audit and assurance expectations.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Accounting, VAT, or equivalent professional tax qualification.
- Relevant professional experience of EMEA indirect taxes in industry or practice.
- Experience in VAT reporting and compliance cycles across multiple jurisdictions.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and how they interact with VAT/GST tax technology solutions.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to tax, finance, and business stakeholders, tailoring messages appropriately to the audience to enable informed decision-making.
- Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset, proactively identifying issues, recommending improvements, and driving execution through to completion within defined scope and accountability.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Hands‑on experience implementing e‑invoicing, digital reporting or real‑time transactional VAT solutions.
- Track record of supporting upstream process improvements that enhances data quality.
- Experience building VAT control frameworks, RASCI models and end‑to‑end compliance governance.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience presenting technical positions to senior business and finance leaders.
- Demonstrates courage to challenge the status quo, put forward a point of view, influence, and is an active team player and contributor sharing knowledge and insights.
- Experience in collaborating across external compliance providers and leveraged capabilities.
