Your Role
As our European Power Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping trading strategies across European electricity markets by delivering high-impact analytical insights. Working within the Global Gas and Power team, you will combine fundamental and statistical analysis to support decision-making in a dynamic trading environment.

Koch Minerals & Trading (KM&T), with offices in Geneva, London and globally, is a commodity trading business active across energy, metals, and freight markets. The Global Gas and Power team focuses on delivering analytical insights that support trading strategy and market understanding across European electricity markets.
What You Will Do
- Lead fundamental analysis of European power markets
- Develop, maintain, and enhance supply and demand (S&D) stack models
- Provide analytical insights to support trading strategies and identify new opportunities
- Manage and improve data inputs and sources for power market analysis
- Support and maintain fundamental research on European electricity markets
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in European power market fundamental analysis or demonstrated ability to develop comparable market insights
- Experience working with FBMC power stack models
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and their application
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding and application of weather fundamentals in power markets
- Proficiency in Python
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Economics)
