Georgia-Pacific (GP) is seeking a part-time Engineering Co-Op to join our team for 2025 at our Darlington, SC location! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Do

Engineering Co-ops are likely in a manufacturing facility, to help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with a large overarching focus on compliance, safety, and health. Our Co-Op program seeks talent from many disciplines including (but not limited to):

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Process Control Engineering
  • Pulp & Paper Science Engineering
  • Quality Engineering

At Koch, interns/co-ops gain real-world, hands-on experience, with the opportunity to tackle significant projects, problem-solve, and take ownership of their work. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to relocate per program requirements.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in a Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering degree program.
