The Global Gas business within KM&T specializes in trading LNG, Natural Gas, and Power. Primarily trading from London and Geneva, this role provides the incumbent with a unique opportunity to join this dynamic and ever-changing business.
The position provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across a number of middle office roles including Trade Support, Operations and Product Control. The incumbent will play an active finance role within Koch Minerals & Trading, working closely with European Power, Natural Gas and LNG traders and fellow CFO team members in order to support existing business and new initiatives. The role will require a strong hands-on focus in maintaining integrity of the trading system and managing active positions daily.
What You Will Do
- Daily position reconciliation
- Trade Support validations
- Position optimization calculations
- Month End B/S substantiation
- Develop deep understanding of the global gas trading strategies
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as demanded by the business
- Project work and process improvement
- Embrace new innovations and technology to drive process improvements and efficiencies
- Co-ordinating & supporting projects targeting business expansion into new structures, products, commodities or geographies or business improvements
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering
- Significant proficiency in Excel required; experience with PowerBI beneficial

- Coding ability/programming languages would be advantageous - SQL, VBA, PowerBI, Python
- Commodity experience
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
