b Overview /b p In this role you will partner with traders and finance teams to deliver insights on P L, positions, risk and working capital within the Metals CFO team in London. You will work across Metals Product Control and Metals Operations to support decision-making and improve efficiency across the trade lifecycle. The role offers a chance to deepen your understanding of physical and financial metals trading while scaling capabilities through analytics, data management and automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, strengthen controls and drive continuous improvement. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Defined contribution pension scheme /li li Long-term disability insurance /li li Private medical insurance /li li Death in service life assurance /li li Health screening /li li Interest free season ticket loan , Ride to work scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Partner with traders and commercial leaders to explain drivers of P L and positions, highlight risks and support decision-making /li li Deliver analysis to improve understanding of performance, exposures, and portfolio dynamics /li li Build relationships across trading, finance, operations, and risk to connect financial results to commercial activity /li li Support integrity of the trading book through balance sheet substantiation and controls over positions, accruals, inventories, warrants, and margins /li li Identify control gaps in trade capture, valuation, and processes and implement improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency /li li Assist with close processes by investigating exceptions and resolving discrepancies /li li Support settlements, reconciliations, contract administration, margining, warrant and physical processing, and client servicing /li li Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to address issues, improve reliability, and enhance client outcomes /li li Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflows; support projects involving new products, reporting enhancements, process improvements, and operational capabilities /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline /li li Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with large datasets and reconcile complex positions /li li Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities /li li Effective communication and collaboration across functions /li /ul ul li Strong communication /li li Cross-functional collaboration /li li Problem-solving /li li SQL /li li Python /li li VBA or similar analytical/automation tools /li /ul
