We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Writer & Publisher Relations team in London. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison between Kobalt and our clients supporting songwriters and publishers, ensuring their catalogues are accurately represented, and acting as an ambassador for our industry-leading administrative services.

You’ll help ensure our clients’ works are correctly onboarded, registered, and administered, enabling accurate royalty collection and long-term client success.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for administrative inquiries from Kobalt clients.
- Foster and maintain relationships with songwriters and publishers across Kobalt’s roster.
- Serve as a central resource for client account and catalogue knowledge, offering solutions to internal teams.
- Oversee client agreement onboarding, including catalogue ingestion and initial account setup.
- Maintain and enhance client account information to support efficient registrations, royalty collection, and ongoing administration.
- Work cross-functionally with Business Affairs, Copyright, Creative, Synch, Royalties, Finance, and Operations to support accurate client royalty statements.
- Provide insights and reporting on client account performance to internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients or their representatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of Kobalt’s services, internal systems, and operational processes.
What You’ll Bring:
- Preferred: Experience in a client-facing or account management role within the music industry.
- Understanding of music publishing, copyright, PROs, DSPs, and royalty flow.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.

- Ability to balance independent work with collaborative projects and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

- By Month 6: You’ll manage a broad range of client needs confidently assisting with catalogue updates, providing performance insights, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve complex questions.
- By Year 1: You’ll have developed trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrated ownership of key accounts, and contributed to improved efficiency and accuracy across onboarding, administration, and client service.
