As a data-oriented and strategic thinker, you will be instrumental in building tools and processes that drive value for AMRA and its clients. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in publishing and royalties workflows who is ready to step into a more impactful, end-to-end role in a fast-paced, tech-forward music environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases
  • Advanced Excel skills and data management abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and balance project-based and operational workstreams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
  • Experience managing projects or delivering business change initiatives in fast-paced, tech-led environments
  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams

Nice to Have:

  • Programming or data wrangling experience (e.g. Python, R)
  • Understanding of international royalty practices and collection societies
  • Experience creating business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

What Success Looks Like

By Month 3: You’ll have a solid grasp of AMRA’s BI tools, systems, and royalty workflows. You’ll begin contributing to analysis and insight generation that supports key royalty tracking processes.

By Month 6: You’ll be independently delivering improvements to AMRA’s income tracking systems and providing actionable data insights to stakeholders across the business.

By Year 1: You’ll be leading BI initiatives, driving business-critical projects, and helping ensure that AMRA provides the most transparent and accurate reporting in the music industry.

Key Behaviours for Success

Initiative & Innovation You’ll continuously seek new ways to optimise tools and processes, contributing to AMRA’s mission of delivering transformative services to rights holders worldwide.

Interview Process & Logistics

  • Introductory call with a member of our Recruitment Team
  • Interviews with the AMRA BI team and hiring manager
  • Optional technical task or case study
  • Final stage interview and Q&A
