A specialist electronics engineering client of ours is looking for an experienced Test Technician to join their team on an urgent contract basis. You'll be at the heart of their motor testing operation - setting up and running dynamometer tests on electronic / electric drive systems and motors, working closely with engineers to ensure accurate, reliable results.
This is a hands-on role with real variety: from configuring test rigs and motors through to monitoring data acquisition systems, validating outputs and supporting troubleshooting on upgraded dyno platforms. What You'll Be Doing- Setting up and executing rotational dynamometer (dyno) tests on electric motors and drive systems
- Configuring motors, test rigs and associated equipment ahead of test runs

- Capturing, recording and validating test data to engineering standards
- Supporting fault-finding and debug activities on dyno systems
