A fast-growing electronics engineering business in Norwich has an urgent need for a skilled Contract Electronics Technician to join their R&D team with an immediate start and a one stage Teams interview.

This is a hands-on contract role embedded within an advanced electronics development environment, supporting a talented engineering team on cutting edge testing and development projects.

  • Rate: Up to £45ph Outside IR35
  • Duration: 3 month initial contract | ASAP start

What You'll Be Doing

  • Electronic PCB rework and modifications - surface mount and through-hole
  • Board-level soldering and electronics modifications
  • Building and wiring simple electronics test rigs
  • Supporting lab-based testing activities
  • Maintaining lab organisation and electronic component/equipment control
  • Documenting modifications accurately and consistently
  • Working alongside Electronics Engineers on active development projects

What We're Looking For

  • Proven PCB rework and soldering experience - you're comfortable at the bench
  • Background in an R&D or electronics lab environment
  • Able to work independently as well as in close collaboration with others
