Power Electronics Engineer Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working Available) We are seeking a talented and driven Power Electronics Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Wakefield. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and testing advanced power electronic systems for cutting-edge industrial, renewable energy, and transportation applications. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of energy innovation, with the chance to work on high-impact projects from concept to production. Design and develop power electronic converters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC) and control systems. Select components and design circuits to meet system performance, efficiency, and safety requirements. Collaborate with mechanical, embedded, and systems engineers to develop integrated solutions. Support manufacturing and field engineering teams with troubleshooting and product improvements. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field. Proven experience in power electronics design and development. Familiarity with wide-bandgap semiconductors (SiC, GaN) is a plus.
