Their mission is to deliver innovative commercial electronics solutions designed for the home electronics market, with a focus on reducing development lead time and time-to-market for consumer electronics devices.
The Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing integrated electronics solutions as part of a collaborative project team. You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial research and feasibility investigations to preparing designs for manufacture. This role requires genuine technical competency.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of analogue and digital electronics design work.
- Investigate emerging electronics technologies and participate in feasibility studies focused on novel product realisation.
- Produce thoroughly documented designs and liaise with other departments to optimise manufacturability.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards and legislation including ISO 9001.
- Support designs through their full product lifecycle and manage broader electronics design activities including PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and stakeholder management.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree-level qualification in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- At least five years’ experience in genuine electronics design roles.
- Strong capabilities in both analogue and digital electronics, with solid experience using Altium Designer.
- Comfortable with PCB layout, embedded software development, and C/C++ programming.
- Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M microprocessors, serial communication interfaces, and EMC compliance is essential.
- Design for manufacture and low-power battery product experience is highly desirable.
You should be analytically sharp, exceptionally organised, and capable of managing your own time effectively within project parameters. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a strong sense of responsibility for your work. Attention to detail is non-negotiable.
