Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer for IoT product

Location: Lincoln (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000

As a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer, you’ll help strengthen and automate the company’s software testing efforts across embedded systems, applications, and cloud platforms.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and execute QA plans across the product lifecycle
  • Improve test coverage for embedded and IoT systems
  • Automate test processes wherever possible
  • Work with embedded engineers and software developers
  • Track and report bugs, and provide usability feedback
  • Help drive improvements in testing tools and test fixtures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience in software testing and QA, ideally with embedded or IoT systems
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g. Cypress)
  • Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar
  • Experience testing across embedded, application, and cloud environments
