KO2 are working with an innovative client in the electronics devices space, and they are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support exciting new projects. Based out of their Burnley office, with the flexibility to work from home 3-4 days per week, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across multiple industries.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Leading the design and development of electronic circuits and systems.
- Taking projects from concept through to production, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability.
- Integrating and optimising wireless communication technologies (e.g. LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, BLE, Wi-Fi).
- Ensuring designs meet EMC, environmental, and relevant industry compliance standards.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including software and mechanical engineers.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
What we\’re looking for:
- Proven experience as an Electronics Engineer, ideally at senior level.
- Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of compliance, testing, and certification requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
