About the Role :
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing team in the development of cutting-edge products within the safety and detection sectors. Our client, a British-owned company, designs, develops, tests, and manufactures all their products in their state-of-the-art facilities in Lancashire.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing new products, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of engineers across multiple disciplines. From initial concept to in-house testing and final production, you’ll have the opportunity to see your designs come to life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop a variety of new products, including both analogue and digital circuits.
- Collaborate with engineers in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
- Contribute to every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
- Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into designs.
Skills and Experience Required :
- Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and multilayer PCB design.
- Experience with switch mode power supply (SMPS) design.
Desirable Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge of EMC standards.
- Experience in microcontroller design.
