An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Wakefield. With over 30 years of industry experience, our client works with a range of leading organisations and is now investing in the development of innovative, next-generation products.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced electronics engineer who is passionate about emerging technologies and eager to expand their technical expertise within a forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schematic capture and circuit design
  • Design and development of multilayer PCBs, including layout
  • Development of both analogue and digital electronics
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams including embedded software and mechanical engineering
  • Contribution across the full product design lifecycle, from concept through to production
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in electronic design within an industry environment
  • Strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design and layout
  • Experience with schematic capture tools
  • Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuit design
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using PCB design tools such as Altium or PADS
  • Knowledge of LCD or touchscreen display integration
  • Experience with Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)
