Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Engineering Department. You will be ultimately responsible for the delivery of high-quality technical solutions to customers, as well as providing technical services and support to internal functions.
This is a pivotal role within the Senior Leadership Team, offering the opportunity to shape the company’s technical direction, drive innovation, and influence business-wide performance.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering department, including power electronics (hardware/software), electrical machine design, PCB and mechanical design teams.
- Oversee the successful delivery of technical solutions, products, and services to customers worldwide.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and output quality.
- Collaborate with commercial and business development teams to define technical solutions, costing, and delivery resourcing to support sales conversion.
Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role (CTO, Engineering Director, or similar). Strong background in multidisciplinary engineering environments, ideally including power electronics and electrical systems. Experience in product development, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management. Commercial awareness with the ability to support business development and sales activities. Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
