Contract Mobile App Test Lead
Location- Lancaster (4 days onsite)
Rate- Up to 450 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract length- 6 months initially

My client is working on groundbreaking mobile app technology that\’s about to hit the market, with huge global demand already lined up. To make it happen, they urgently need a Mobile App Test Lead to take charge of testing across iOS and Android apps.

You\’ll be both hands-on and leading from the front. Planning and running tests, coordinating a team of testers, and working closely with developers to make sure the apps perform flawlessly across hundreds of devices and real-world conditions.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Leading all mobile app testing (iOS & Android)
  • Coordinating and mentoring junior testers
  • Test planning, exploratory testing, regression, and performance testing
  • Collaborating with developers to spot issues and improve performance
  • Ensuring reliable, secure performance across multiple environments

What we\’re looking for:

  • Strong track record in mobile app or device testing
  • Experience with performance testing on iOS and Android
  • Skilled in test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Confident communicator, able to coordinate teams and liaise with developers
  • Self-starter who can take ownership and deliver results quickly

Nice to have (not essential): ISTQB certification, Python scripting, or SCRUM Master certification.
