Are you starting out in electronics and enjoy working out why a circuit isn’t working? Our client in Falkirk is looking for a Junior Electronic Technician to join their repair team. You’ll learn to diagnose and repair VF drives, HMIs and circuit boards from a wide range of industries, with support from experienced technicians.

- Using soldering irons, hot air rework stations, multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test equipment
- Supporting routine maintenance to prevent future failures and extend equipment life
- Recording repair procedures, replaced components and work carried out, for quality control and future reference
What we’re looking for

- A good grasp of electronics fundamentals and the ability to read basic schematics and datasheets
- Some soldering experience, whether through study, work or personal projects. SMD rework experience is a bonus
- IPC J-STD-001 certification is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
- A willingness to learn and follow safety standards and quality procedures
- A methodical approach and an eye for detail
- Salary of £[XX,000] – £[XX,000], depending on experience
- Structured on‑job training and mentoring from experienced repair technicians
- Varied, hands‑on work across many types of equipment and industries
- A clear path to develop into a fully skilled Electronic Technician
- A supportive team focused on doing excellent repair work
