KO2 is partnering with an established and innovative technology company based in Luton, who are looking to expand their engineering team with an experienced Electronics Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the design and development of bespoke consumer electronic products.
The Role
As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved in the full product development lifecycle, working from customer requirements through to delivery. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and stakeholders to create robust, high-quality electronic solutions tailored to customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating customer requirements into technical solutions and new product designs
- Designing custom electronic circuit boards, including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Supporting board bring-up, verification, and testing activities
- Working with customers to assist with integration, commissioning, and technical issue resolution
- Participating in client meetings and producing clear, professional technical documentation and reports
Skills & Experience Required
- Several years industry experience in an electronics design role
- Strong experience in board-level design, including schematic capture and PCB layout
- Solid understanding of analogue and digital design, including system architecture, component selection and design for manufacture
- Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have Experience:
- Exposure to WiFi or bluetooth technologies
- Altium Designer
- Embedded software development experience
