Position: Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000

About the Role: We're working with an established and forward-thinking engineering company in South Leeds that's expanding its team with a new Embedded Software Engineer. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll enjoy a diverse workload, creating brand-new embedded systems from the ground up. You'll play a key role in the full development lifecycle and have the opportunity to directly influence design decisions while reporting to the Technical Director.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong C programming skills
  • Experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
  • Microcontroller development (STM32, Microchip PIC, Nordic preferred)
  • Familiarity with communication protocols: I2C, SPI, CAN, DAL
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Ideal Candidate:
