Overview
An established electronics business based in Wallsend is looking to appoint a new electronics technician to join their small but highly skilled team. The company works on bespoke projects with global customers and provides a supportive, hands on environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Perform product testing at system, module and sub‑assembly level using a wide range of hardware and software tools.
- Carry out stress, thermal and performance testing; support verification of embedded firmware and bespoke test software.
- Support customers remotely and on site to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Document and report testing activities, maintain engineering test records, produce test reports, and support quality control.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Open to graduates with a strong interest in electronics through to experienced professionals.
- HNC or higher in electronics or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Practical mindset, excellent problem solving skills and genuine enthusiasm for electronics.
