The Role:
We’re recruiting a Production Planner / Production Controller on a 12 month contract to support an electronic manufacturing site experiencing strong growth in demand. You’ll be responsible for final assembly production planning, managing schedules across multiple manufacturing zones in a labour intensive environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage production schedules across 4 manufacturing zones
- Monitor production order progress and delivery performance
- Work closely with manufacturing to maintain schedule adherence
- Attend OTIF meetings and support on-time delivery
- Coordinate plan changes with procurement, logistics, and production
- Create and maintain production performance reports
Skills & experience required:
- Experience as a Production Planner or Production Controller
- Proven background in production scheduling
- Working knowledge of capacity planning
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills and confidence working on-site
Desirable:
- Manufacturing or assembly environment experience (electronics beneficial)
- SAP experience
