KO2's client, a well-funded and rapidly growing startup based in Stroud, is looking for a Microelectronics Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys taking ideas from early concept through to PCB design, prototyping, and manufacture. The company is developing innovative low-power connected devices and is seeking someone with experience in acoustic sensing, IoT connectivity, and ultra-low-power electronics to help bring new products to life.

The Role

As a Microelectronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of next-generation sensing hardware. You'll work across the full product lifecycle - from concept and architecture through schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, testing, and preparing designs for manufacturing. This is a highly hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building, testing, and refining real hardware in a fast-moving startup environment.
